Let's get ready to rumble....naked!
About a week ago, I took part in a comic-slam presented by the locally well-known Blutt Comicmagazine.
It basically works like a Slam-poetry contest, just with comics or illustrations instead of poems. The Blutt (blutt is the swiss-german word for naked) slam was the third of comic-slams that were held during the comic festival Fumetto in Lucerne and was well attended.
....Sadly, I just won second place.
Anyway, I thought I show you a few glimpses of the event.
Winner and loser, Jonas "Bubblejohny" and 'lip Sanscoeur...

...Jam Jopp vs. Konrad Beck...

...Simon "Abwerner" Schnellmann vs. Tashi

...Jam Jopp's fan-base

...'lip Sanscoeur

...and master Mathis "MATHIST" Pfäffli

...and here you can see further photos of the Bluttbattle!

Dear Mr Uwe Stoklossa
A few years ago I did illustrate a car in life-size to be pasted on a delivery car.
Imagine my surprise when I stumbled upon a book that claimed that the idea wasn't by the art director I worked with but by someone else. So I decided to post some old work of mine to do justice to the original creators and to tell everyone who bothers to read my blog that Uwe Stoklossa did a minor miss-print in his book called "Blicktricks".
The book itself isn't bad and gathers ad's that confuses our sight.
The advertisement in question was done by Britta Egger (AD) and John Leuppi (Copywriter). Its credits can be read in full here.
My Illustration...

...and it's use.

The miss-print.

Good, but not good enough
It sounded to good to be true, but eventually I wasn’t chosen to do the movie poster for HIDDEN HEART.
None the less, I decided to post them here just to indulge myself in haveing the posters seen by someone.
:)
Hidden Heart was directed by Cristina Karrer and Werner Schweizer and is distributed by LOOKNOW!

Ill-nourished
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to post much recently. But I hope that will change in the weeks to come. For now I'll post just a small piece that was supposed to be part of a series of five for an satellite-exhibition at the Fumetto Comic-festival.
