moving tears

I was recently reminded that it would be helpful to remind my dear readers of this blog that I have moved the news-section to my new blog on my own website. Which you will agree, is a logical move. Personally, I like Blogspot as a blog tool and therefore like to keep it as a kind of archive which I will be referring to on my new blog.

Unfortunately, my new blog will be in german. Though, should you be interested to read the news in english, I'd recommend to visit my other news satellite. Thank you!

PS: Of course I am not going to close without any pictures. Beneath are sneak peek pages from the story I did for the newest issue of the Strapazin Magazin (except for the cover of course. That was done by Anna Sommer).

three nominations, one win

I have to admit I'm not usually in the habit of boasting about my work and don't intend to do so now. But I want to tell that I won the "Gender and Diversity prize" for my comic book project "Hier. Dort. Diese Strasse" yesterday.
As I'm determined to bring that project to a proper close, I take every thing positive regarding it to promote the project hoping to get every aid possible to do so.

out of touch

It's been while since I've posted anything, but I've been working on a rather ambitious project. It's still very much work in progress.

Fake!!!

Out now, the fifth (?) issue of the Blutt Comic Magazine.
If you happen to be at the comicfestivals in Sierré or Erlangen you can catch a glimpse of the guys behind it.
For those who are interested to contribute a four-pager, the topic will be "Bleu" (BLUE) and has to be sent via e-mail to blutt@gmx.ch. Deadline is the 25th of July 2008.

Let's get ready to rumble....naked!

About a week ago, I took part in a comic-slam presented by the locally well-known Blutt Comicmagazine.
It basically works like a Slam-poetry contest, just with comics or illustrations instead of poems. The Blutt (blutt is the swiss-german word for naked) slam was the third of comic-slams that were held during the comic festival Fumetto in Lucerne and was well attended.

....Sadly, I just won second place.

Anyway, I thought I show you a few glimpses of the event.
