a boney Pekhart

Monks do strange things, they live in solitude and pray to a transcendental being thats supposed to sit somewhere above us and plays with us the perpetual check game.
Sometimes monks build a chapel out of human bones...
...No, they don't. František Rint did. So, if you ever go to Czech Republic I suggest you'd take a trip to Kutná Hora an visit kostnice Sedlec.

Though, for now you'll have to feed your eyes on the combination of Thomas Pekhart with Schwarzenberg coat-of-arms,

a retrograde Gebreselassie

Puppets are for children. Puppets cannot bring adults to lough. And, they are never gonna be as famous that somebody would think of dedicating a theatre to them. It's ridiculous to even think so!

No, it's not. May my puppet mastery put the combination of Theodor Gebreselassie with Spejbl and Hurvínek on stage.

Pan Kadlec

Today I'll evoke the childhood memories of many german speaking (as well as those of the czech speaking ones of course) people who grew up watching this TV serial. No, not the A-Team, but rather "Pan Tau (Mr. Tau)".
May I present you the combination of Michal Kadlec with Pan Tau,

the czechs are coming!

Starting today with Jan Rezek, I'll post a series of portraits throughout these following days that I did. The guys portrayed in these monotypes are members of the national Czech Republic soccer/football team which will be playing at the European Championship in Poland/Ukraine this year. I illustrated them for a sticker album to be published by Tschuttiheftli who is going to give a large part of its proceeds to the charity Viva con Agua.
Personally, I wanted to combine each portrait with a czech related cultural object or to reference some of it in some kind of way.

Today is an easy one, as I combined Jan Rezek with Becharovka.

As you may have noticed, it's not the first one I've posted here. I previously showed you Michal Bilek whom I combined with the Crown of Saint Wenceslas.
